PHP7 : instalar edição ext-dom

I'm rodando laravel 5.4 no servidor Ubuntu 16.04 com PHP7. tentando instalar o pacote `cviebrock/eloquent-sluggable' atira algum erro:

Installation failed, reverting ./composer.json to its original content.

Não tenho problemas em instalar este pacote na versão local do aplicativo .

Solução

Antes de mais nada, leia o aviso! Diz: não correr compositor como root! Segundo, você'provavelmente está usando Xammp no seu local que tem as bibliotecas de php necessárias como padrão.

Mas no seu servidor você'está faltando o ext-dom. O php7.1-xml tem todos os pacotes relacionados que você precisa. Então, você pode simplesmente instalá-lo rodando:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install php7.1-xml

O mais provável é que você também esteja faltando o "mbstring". Se você receber o erro, instale este pacote também com:

sudo apt-get install php-mbstring

Então corre:

composer update
composer require cviebrock/eloquent-sluggable

Para quem quiser instalar o ext-dom no php 7.1 e executar este comando:

sudo apt install php-xml
